Mixed bag on my order

I ordered some ski boots and a pair of ski socks. The boots are excellent, really comfortable and great quality, as expected from Rossignol. They came pretty quickly too, took about 4 days to get to my place in Ohio. However, the ski socks were out of stock even though they showed as available when I ordered. Customer service was polite when I called, but it still meant I had to wait for a separate shipment of socks which was a bit annoying. The boots alone made it a good buy, but they could improve on inventory accuracy.

Decent ski jacket

Ordered a ski jacket, a 'veste de ski' they called it. It's pretty good, kept me warm on the slopes. The fit was a bit snug, I probably should have checked the size chart closer. But overall, it worked out okay for my trip.

It's pretty standard, you just follow the steps on their site. Make sure whatever you're returning is unused and still has tags. I returned a jacket that was too big and got my refund quickly.

Yeah, I think they do. I saw an option for like 3 or 4 payments when I was checking out with some new skis last winter. It was through a third-party thing, afaik.

Pretty sure they have it. I used Sezzle or something similar for my snowboard purchase a few months back. Made it easier on the wallet.

Is there a big difference between Rossignol Hero and Experience skis? I mostly stick to groomed runs but sometimes venture off a little.

Hero is more for carving and speed on piste, like aggressive frontside stuff. Experience is your all-mountain go-to, better if you're hitting varied conditions or want to play around off the groomers a bit. For what you described, Experience sounds like a better fit.

Yeah, Hero is basically their race-inspired line, super stiff for bombing. Experience is more versatile, still great on groomers but way more forgiving if you hit some soft stuff or chopped up snow.

From my experience with their all-mountain boots, they run pretty true. I just used their size chart on the product page and it worked out fine.

I'd say true to size for length but maybe a bit narrow if you have wider feet. Definitely check the shell last if you can find it listed for the model you're looking at.
